Staff

Imuma is staffed by generous individuals who are donating their time and efforts to the well-being of the children. Many are personal friends of Sharif and his family.

First, meet Sharif and Asha. Four years ago they started Imuma together. They now live at Imuma with their own two children, Yusuf and Sada.

Major is a local musician who volunteers his time at Imuma singing with the children, teaching music lessons, and helping out in the classroom. Major also produces his own music in nearby Dar es Salaam.

Adele helps out at Imuma cleaning and preparing porridge for the students.

Imuma is very fortunate to have the help of their many friends who help out at Imuma and take the children to the beach once a week.
